Katherine Etta Calaman

Katherine Calaman, 83, entered into rest on Friday, September 27, 2013.

Katherine was born on February 7, 1930 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Katherine was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She cherished her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. Her parents, James Arthur and Minerva O'Fallon Meigs, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, David A. Calaman, Byron; daughters, Deborah J. Baxter, Orlando, Florida; Nancy A. Heidt, Byron; Jeanie M. Haupt, Cartersville; grandchildren, Christina Rosser, Orlando, Florida; Christopher Celentano, Madison, Wisconsin; Bryan Heidt, and Emily Heidt, both of Atlanta; Joshua Haupt, Zachary Haupt and Caroline Haupt, all of Cartersville; brothers, James L. Meigs, Sandersville and Robert L. Meigs, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
