Katie Spires Jones, 85, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 25, 2010.
Mrs. Jones was born on May 5, 1925 in Milan, Georgia. A devoted homemaker, she dearly loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin C. Jones, and daughters, Sarah Jones Boggs and Patricia Jones.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Alvin E. Jones, Midway; grandchildren, Theresa Williams, Jeffory Jones, Lee Boggs and Jeremy Boggs; son-in-law, Denny Boggs; and nephew, Melvin Spires.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Richard Lanning officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
