Kenneth Allen Clark

MSgt. Kenneth “Ken” Allen Clark, USAF (Ret.), 71, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Ken was born on February 2, 1953, in Providence, Rhode Island. During his service with the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Plattsburgh AFB, NY, RAF Mildenhall AB, England, Robins AFB, GA, RAF Fairford England, Castle AFB, CA, and Comiso AS, Sicily. After his 20 years of honorable service, he began working at Bibb County in information technology, retiring after 22 years. Ken loved his family dearly and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his son, although he was told no a few times along the way. He loved his grandchildren, Diamond and Donavan, beyond belief. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, keeping the yard, and going on vacations.  

His parents, Leonard E. and Joyce Clark, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty Jean Self Clark; son, Michael Clark (Beth); grandchildren, Diamond and Donavan Clark; siblings, Marsha Faye (Frank), Norman Clark (Patricia) along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.   A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  Afterward, Ken will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery with military honors. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Kenneth Clark to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The American Cancer Society at 804 Cherry Street, Ste A, Macon, GA 31201.
