Mr. Mulkey was born on January 20, 1922 in Dalton, Georgia to the late George William and Amanda Passmore Mulkey. He was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church where he served as a deacon emeritus. He was a true American patriot, serving his community as a Mason, a Scottish Rite member, and in any capacity he was asked to serve. He enjoyed spending time with his family, loved to farm and enjoyed hunting. His parents, five brothers, and six sisters all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of sixty-four years, Virginia Baxter Mulkey; sons, Michael A. Mulkey (Terri) and William T. "Skip" Mulkey; all of Warner Robins; brother, Gorden Mulkey, Birmingham, Alabama; grandchildren, Jamie Daugherty (Sean), Maryville, Tennessee; Natalie Mulkey, Atlanta; Timmy Mulkey and Jacqueline Mulkey, of Warner Robins; four great grandchildren, Derrick, Courtney, Alexis, and Nathan.
