Kevin Cecil Brown

Kevin Brown, 65, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Kevin was born on July 9, 1960, in Orlando, Florida, to the late Joseph and JoAnne Ward Brown.

He graduated from Rosman High School in 1978, where he played basketball.

Kevin worked as an aircraft mechanic at Robins Air Force Base for 35 dedicated years. He truly loved his job and took great pride in his work. A proud patriot, Kevin believed deeply in hard work, loyalty, and service.

Outside of work, Kevin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, spending time in the mountains and listening to Dwight Yoakam songs. He was a devoted fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs, who brought him constant companionship and happiness.

Kevin was known as a gentle soul with a generous heart. He had a quiet strength about him and a steadfast loyalty that made a lasting impression on everyone he met. A friend of Kevin’s was a friend for life. His kindness, humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his brother, Kennon Brooks (Angela), his nieces, Karley Wilson (Brian), Maddie Brooks, Emma Brooks, Ryleigh Brooks, Olivia Brooks, his nephew, Joseph Brooks, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Kevin will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
