Landen Bryce Monroe of Byron, Georgia, a native of Frankfort, Kentucky, went home May 19, 2024. He was survived by his wife, Jaida Monroe of Byron, Georgia, stepchildren, Shepp and Emerson Maddox, his father, Bubby Monroe and mother, Christina (Tina) Monroe of Frankfort, KY, his sister, Jasmine Wright (Chris), brother, Aiden Monroe of Frankfort, KY, niece, Charlotte Wright of Clarksville, Indiana, grandparents, Ronald (Ronnie) Monroe, Sr. and Mildred Monroe of Frankfort, KY, aunt, Lisa Perry, cousins, Kaitlyn Hudson of Frankfort, KY and Austin Hockensmith of Simpsonville, KY, Wilton, Kirtley Hudson of Frankfort, KY, and maternal mother, Tara Dean of Ft. Born on January 17, 1995, Bryce was a 2014 graduate of Western Hills High School where he held the highest pole-vaulting record for many years. He enlisted in the United States Air Force right after high school and served his six years stationed in Warner Robins, Georgia. After his six years of military service, he went to work for a construction company as a supervisor, and recently took a job with the US Department of Defense as an aircraft technician on Robins Air Force Base. He was very good at his craft.
Bryce was an amazing son, stepdad, brother, grandson, and friend. Bryce loved riding his motorcycle every chance he could. He also LOVED his cat Smoky. He enjoyed hunting, boating, target shooting, and was an amazing pool player. Bryce was also a prankster; if he can get a joke over on you, it made his day. Bryce never met a stranger; he was a kind and loving soul! He will be so incredibly missed!
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
