Lane "Huck" Huckaby

Lane “Huck” Huckaby, 78, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on March 26, 2026.

Huck was born on August 26, 1947, in Pike County, Georgia, to the late Henry Huckaby and Agnes Free Huckaby. Following his graduation from high school, he was drafted into the United States Navy, where he served his country with honor for four years. While in the Navy, he served during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, Huck devoted over three decades to civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked as an electrician. His strong work ethic and dedication led to a well-earned retirement after 30 years of service.

Huck was known for his easygoing nature and the simple joys he cherished most. He loved spending time with his friends, sharing stories and laughter, and could often be found enjoying peaceful moments sitting on his front porch.

He will be remembered for his service, his steady presence, and the friendships he held dear.

In addition to his parents, Huck was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Huckaby; and step-son, Richard Maddox.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Patricia Huckaby; daughters, Tanya and Kim; sister; Joyce Cochran (Jimmy); and sister-in-law, Glenda Huckaby.

Visitation will be Monday, March 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Huck will be laid to rest privately.
