Larry Foster Bonner of Warner Robins, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was born August 12, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri.
After moving from Missouri, he and his wife, Carolyn, made their home in Warner Robins where he was stationed at RAFB in 1968. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in Civil Service. He was an avid softball player and bowler, winning awards in both. He also loved movies, gardening, dancing and video games and was a lifetime WRHS Demon fan. He was active up until his unexpected death. With his quick wit and sense of humor he will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Bonner, and his three daughters and their husbands - Kim and Lee Pannell of Knoxville, TN, Trace and Andrew Anastassiou of Charleston, SC, Jill and Pete Hawes of Davis, CA. His three grandsons are Jay Pannell and his wife Lindsey, Isaac Pannell and Ian Hawes and his step-granddaughter, Danielle, and her husband Ryan Perry.
He was a member of First Christian Church of Perry, GA. His memorial service will be held Sunday, August 18th at McCullough Funeral Home. Receiving of friends will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the memorial service starting at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Promise of Greater Houston County, P.O. Box 8434, Warner Robins, GA. 31095-8434.
