Laura “Gale” Hart, born on May 18, 1964, in Comanche, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2024. Gale spent her formative years in Macon, Georgia, where she became a beloved member of the community.
A talented barber, Gale spent most of her career in Macon, where she dedicated many years to her profession, most recently working at Great Clips in Warner Robins. Her warm smile and genuine kindness made her a favorite among her clients, who often left feeling uplifted after their visits.
Gale had a true passion for shopping, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored and showered with love and attention. With a heart of gold, she effortlessly lifted the spirits of everyone around her. Gale had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen and appreciated, always taking the time to offer a kind word or a warm smile. Known for her vibrant personality and free spirit, she never met a stranger and had an infectious laugh that could bring joy to even the grumpiest of souls. To those who knew her, Gale felt like home, with a special gift for turning the ordinary into something magical. Her memory will forever provide warmth to those who loved her, like a comforting campfire, and bring solace like the gentle ocean waves. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Hart.
Gale is survived by her loving daughters, Britney Lord (Josh) of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and Allison Foltz (Tony) of Bonaire, Georgia; grandchildren, Carson, Kaylee, Peyton, Lincoln, and Ellie; mother, Evelyn Alderman; siblings, David Hart (Tammy), Harold Hart, Bradley Barnard, Rebecca Hart Freeman, Jennifer Palady, and Cynthia Hart; and husband, Raymond Shultz.
