Laurie Jean Lanfair

Laurie J. Lanfair, 78, entered into rest on Friday, January 15, 2010.

Mrs. Lanfair was born on July 20, 1931 in Eastman. A homemaker, she was entirely devoted to her family, the center of her life. International City Church of God was her church home. She was predeceased by her husband of forty-one years, Billy Fred Lanfair, Sr., and parents, Ovid Fordham and Mabelle Upshaw Fordham.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Susan Bartlett, (Randy), Bonaire; Barbara Mead, Ricky), Bonaire, Lynn Pointer (Marc), Fort Valley; son, Billy F. Lanfair, Jr., Bleckley County; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 17, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Etah Garcia and Wayne Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088 or the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Suite 201.
