LCDR Warren L. Bunn, USN (Ret.)

LCDR Warren L. Bunn, USN, Ret. passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at The Alto. LCDR Bunn will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in Andersonville National Cemetery.

LCDR Bunn was born February 15, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Byron L. Bunn and Ruth Bunn Webb. LCDR Bunn served over 24 years in the U.S. Navy and over 20 years with Atlantic Southeast Airlines.

In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 55 years, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Canady Bunn; and sister, Jeannette (Ronnie) Welch of Ellaville, GA.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary (Y'.Jayne) Gibson of Leesburg, GA, Martha Felker of Vienna, GA, Kathy (Russel) Johnson of Americus, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of LCDR Warren L. Bunn, USN (Ret.) to the American Heart Association or any other favorite charity.
