Leigh Anne Hise, 39, was called to her eternal home, unexpectedly, on Friday, August 12, 2022.
Leigh Anne was born on June 28, 1983 at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. Growing up in Warner Robins as a proud military child, she spent one year living in Hinesville, and three years each in Germany and Watertown, New York before moving back home to Warner Robins. Leigh Anne attended Northside High school where she was involved in music, drama and was the first runner up Miss Northside High. She graduated with the class of 2001. Following high school, Leigh Anne attended Macon State College. She spent several years working for the City of Warner Robins Probation Office and Buzzell’s Plumbing. Leigh Anne was currently employed at Mercer University as the music department administrative assistant. A great vocalist, she loved her work at Mercer and being able to work with the students to help grow their musical talents. Passionate about animals, Leigh Anne had several pets and made it her mission to save any animal she could. She loved binge watching Netflix. Leigh Anne was a very kind hearted, generous, loving person. She was highly animated and loved to talk. Leigh Anne was a member of First Baptist Church Warner Robins where she was saved at the age of five.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of nine years, Lewis Hise, Jr.; stepdaughter, Anna Marie Hise; devoted parents, Nathan and Deborah Pope, Jr.; adoring brother, Joshua Alan Pope; paternal grandparents, Nathan Pope, Sr. and Judy Pope; maternal grandparents, Charles Hughey and Janice Coleman Hughey; father and mother in law, Lewis and Theresa Hise, Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation with Leigh Anne’s family will be Monday, August 15, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Warner Robins with the funeral services celebrating her life to immediately follow. She will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the First Baptist Warner Robins Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/firstbaptistwr.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Leigh Anne Hise to the Humane Society of Houston County, Inc. at 810 Carl Vinson Parkway, Centerville, Georgia 31028.
