Leni Eades, 82, passed away peacefully in the early evening hours of Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon.
Born on May 20, 1935 in Pirmasens, Germany, Leni was the daughter of the late H. and Maria Reichert. She was a wonderful homemaker and beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Omie), and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bobbie J. Eades; and her life partner of 23 years, David M. Thompson who passed away in 2010.
Leni’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Patricia D. Mane of Warner Robins and Michael J. Eades of Fort Valley.
“You left us with beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you’re always at our side.”
The family would like to invite friends to Leni’s Celebration of Life memorial gathering on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Farmhouse at McCullough. Leni will be laid to rest in Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery, 64-66 Custer Rd., Columbus, GA 31905 at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mrs. Eades to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Eades’ arrangements.
