Lenzie Eddie Miller, Sr., 84, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, and was joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Patricia Joan Perdue Miller. Lenzie's life was a testament to dedication, love, and service to his family, his country, and his community.

Born on April 2, 1939, Lenzie was born to the late Clarence Monroe and Mary Saline Paul Miller. He received his education at Buckeye High School in his hometown of Buckeye, Louisiana. His pursuit of knowledge led him to Alexandria, Louisiana, where he embarked on studies in both the Bible and mathematics at Louisiana College before being drafted to serve his nation in the United States Army.

During a visit to Macon, Georgia, Lenzie's life took a beautiful turn when he attended a Free Methodist Church. It was there that he met the love of his life, Patricia, and their hearts were forever intertwined. On December 21, 1963, they exchanged vows, marking the beginning of a loving partnership that would span the rest of their lives. At the time of her passing on June 7, 2019, they had been married for a total of 55 years and six months.

Following his honorable service in the armed forces, Lenzie and Patricia made their home in Macon, Georgia, where they lovingly nurtured their family. Lenzie's professional journey led him to the United States Post Office, where he served as a Clerk for 28 years, eventually earning the esteemed title of Chief Expeditor.

Upon retirement, Lenzie enjoyed pursuing his passions for hunting and fishing. His dedication to his faith was evident through his longstanding membership at the First Evangelical Church. He was a previous member of Free Methodist in Macon, where he selflessly served as Treasurer, Sunday School Secretary, and an Usher, embodying the principles of love and community.
