Leo Warren, 86, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2016.
Leo was born in Millry, Alabama, on November 22, 1930. With great pride and honor he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. In the years following his military service, Leo went to work in Civil Service and was retired from Robins Air Force Base where he had been a millwright. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins and the Fidelity Sunday School Class.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Warren, Sr. and Flora Warren Reed; his sisters, Fannie Mae Myrick; Pearl Minor; Virginia C. McLemore; and brothers, Walter Warren, Jr. and Wirt Warren.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Bettye Warren; son, Lawrence Leo "Larry" Warren; daughter-in-law, Kristie Warren; granddaughters, Reagan Kristie Warren; Marli Caroline Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Leo's family will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. Pastor Missy Blumenthal, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be private.
