Linda Renee Bagnal, age 73, entered into heavenly rest on March 21, 2026.

Born on May 6, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Oscar and Ann Jett Burdett. She lived a life marked by dedication, service, and a deep love for her family.

Linda built a diverse and meaningful career, working in banking, county management, the district attorney’s office, and in a dental office. In each role, she was known for her strong work ethic and caring nature.

She found great joy in spending time with family and friends, and she especially loved traveling and creating beautiful, welcoming spaces through home decorating. Linda also enjoyed working in her yard, where she found peace and happiness.

A woman of strong faith, Linda faithfully served the Lord through her church communities. While attending Westside Baptist Church, she served as a children’s Sunday School teacher, Acteens Activator, and Vacation Bible School volunteer. Later, as a member of Friendship Baptist Church, she was actively involved in the Lighthouse Sunday School Class and the Senior Salt Group.

Above all, Linda deeply loved her children and grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her servant’s heart, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Burdett.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Walt Bagnal; children, Angela Stephens (Bob) of Griffin, Georgia, and Mark Murrell (Jennifer) of Cochran, Georgia; step-daughter, Lori Richardson of Lafayette, Louisiana; grandchildren, Hannah Murrell and Haylee Murrell; step grandchildren, Tyler Stephens, Sara Stephens, Kas Stephens, and Taylor Diaz.

Visitation will be Monday, March 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church. Afterward, Linda will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
