Linda D. Southerd

Linda Diana Southerd, 62, entered into rest on Sunday, August 4, 2013.

Miss Southerd was born on October 13, 1950 in Illinois to the late Lewis E. Southerd and Betty Louise Emory Southerd. She was of the Christian faith. An avid reader and film enthusiast, Linda was an Application Analyst at Emory University Hospital. Also a Nurse Practitioner, she had devoted her life to caring for others through the nursing profession. Her parents, and one sister, Mary Jo Southerd, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sister, Sue Carroll; niece, Michelle Martin, both of Hawkinsville; nephew, Scott Carroll (Sandy), great niece, Megan Carter, all of Florence, South Carolina; great nephews, Ethan Martin, Hawkinsville; Noah and Brice Carroll, both of Florence, South Carolina.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Warner Robins, Georgia.
