Linda Ann Flowers entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2026.
She was born in Jesup, Georgia, on August 22, 2026, to the late Doyle and Dorothy “Dot” Baxter Flowers. As the daughter of an Air Force family, Linda experienced a childhood filled with travel and adventure. She lived in Spain, France, Louisiana, Nebraska, Maine, and Oklahoma, gaining a deep appreciation for different cultures and people along the way. She ultimately graduated from Madrid High School in Madrid, Spain.
Following her schooling, Linda settled in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she began a dedicated career in civil service at Robins Air Force Base. There, she specialized in repairing F-15 electronic circuit boards. Her skill, precision, and unwavering reliability earned her a reputation for excellence—so much so that contractors frequently requested her by name, confident in the quality of her work and her integrity.
Outside of her professional life, Linda had a deep and abiding love for animals. She devoted countless hours volunteering with various animal rescue organizations, including All About Animals, Macon Purrs & Paws, and Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehab. While she cared for all animals, she had a special gift with cats, often going above and beyond to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. Her compassion left a lasting impact on the many animals she helped rescue and rehabilitate.
Linda shared her home and heart with many beloved pets throughout her life. Cats and dogs alike found not just shelter with her, but true love and care.
Above all else, Linda’s greatest joy and deepest love was her son. She loved him with a fierce, unwavering devotion that defined her life. He was her pride, her purpose, and her greatest accomplishment.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Doyle Flowers, Jr.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Nicholas Flowers; sister, Debora Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterward, Linda will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
