Linda Forzetting

April 10, 1946 — March 8, 2016

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 8, 2016, Linda Forzetting, 69, went to be with the Lord. At the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Center in Perry, Georgia, after a lengthy and brave battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully in her sleep with the presence of her loving husband by her side.

Linda was born on April 10, 1946 in Macon, Georgia to the late James and Phronie Cadwell. She was the second oldest of four wonderful sisters, Brenda Moore (Mike), Debra Harvey, and Peggie Haines (Al), all of Warner Robins. Linda was a graduate of Northside High School's Class of 1965. She worked as a Paper Carrier for the Dailey Sun from 1987 until the time it closed in 2003. During this time she received many awards for Carrier of the Month as well as Carrier of the Year. Linda was devoted to her family, always volunteering at her daughter's school. She often spent her time making some type of craft that could be sold at some function or as a fund raiser for the school. Linda worked at the school selling school supplies, running a booth at Halloween, and helping with field day. She loved to read; her favorite author was Nora Roberts, and she loved to cross-stitch. Linda was also a member of Northside Baptist Church and of a local bowling league.

Her parents, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins, preceded her in death.

Linda leaves to treasure her memory, her beloved husband of 43 years, Bobby Forzetting of Warner Robins; daughters, Kim Plunkett (Jeffery) of Kathleen; Tracy Deal (Keith) of Brooklet; stepdaughter, Roberta Evans (Elbert) of Montrose; stepson, Robert "Bobby" Forzetting (Tammy) of Dublin; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation with Linda's family will be Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
