Linda Gail Lazzari, 71, passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 27, 2026.
Linda, born on September 21, 1954, to Frances Ogles Jones and the late Lenzy Fogarty, lived a life filled with creativity, resilience, and deep love for her family.
She had a passion for working with her hands before they got too bad and had a remarkable talent for bringing beauty into the world. Whether she was drawing, reading, or painting, Linda expressed herself with care and dedication. She could sew, crochet, cross-stitch, and refinish furniture with ease—turning the old into something new again. If she spotted something discarded on the side of the road, she saw not what it was, but what it could become. Her hands were gifted, and through them, she created countless meaningful pieces and memories.
Linda also had a true green thumb. She nurtured plants with patience and love, making even the most delicate ones thrive under her care.
Above all, Linda cherished her family. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly, especially her grandchildren, each of whom she made feel uniquely special. Her presence brought warmth, comfort, and joy to those around her.
Though her final years were marked by pain and hardship, she endured with strength. Now, she is at peace, free from suffering.
Linda will be missed beyond words, but her love, creativity, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, John Fogarty, Patty Collins, Coy Fogarty, and Richard Fogarty; and two great-grandchildren, Levi and Ellie Jackson.
Linda’s memory will be forever treasured by her loving daughters, Diana White (Jonathan) and Rebecca Parkerson (Ken); grandchildren, Matt Callahan (Keri), Lydia Jackson (Johnny), Dakota White, Serenity Smallwood, and Billy White; great-grandchildren, Kenlie Salmon, Emma Callahan, Dawson Callahan, Kayden Bartlett, Karlie Bartlett, Addie Jackson, Catalina White, and Kai White; mother, Frances Jones; siblings, Alice Lloyd, Larry Fogarty, Glenn Fogarty, Randall Dees, and Bobby Dees; and many, many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Westside Church of God of Prophecy, 909 NW 44th Ave., Gainesville, FL 32609 with reception to follow.
