Kathleen

Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the premature passing of Linda Sue Pritchett Reagan, age 82, of Kathleen, Georgia. On Friday, January 16th, 2026, she entered heaven. She loved the Lord and was fully prepared for her life after death, but those of us left without her presence are grieving the sudden loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend.

Linda was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Ralph and Lillian Buckelew Pritchett. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Johnny Hightower Reagan, her beloved father and mother, who she referred to as “her best friend”, her younger brother, Ronald D. Pritchett, nieces and nephews.

She will be forever remembered and loved by her two daughters Susan Reagan (McDonald) Hardin of Kathleen and Teresa Diane Reagan of McDonough, grandchildren Hayley Hardin (Brandon) Cauley, Hunter McDonald Hardin, and Hannah Reagan Hardin, her great grandchildren Claire Elizabeth Cauley and Carter Thomas Cauley, her brother Larry Pritchett, brothers-in-law Grady (Barbara) Reagan, Ricky (Debbie) Reagan and sisters-in-law Judith Williams and Linda Ann (Randall) Holcomb, Mary Lou Evans, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

As a child, Linda was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough. After moving with her husband to Warner Robins, to be near her grandchildren, she became a member of Houston Lake Baptist Church, and after her husband’s death, became a member of Cross Point Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia.

Linda was a retired teacher from the Houston County School System. In her early teaching career, she taught in Henry County at J.B. Henderson Elementary School. She loved children and was a gifted educator. In 1990, she was named Henry County’s Teacher of the Year. She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher Honor Society. When she and her husband moved to Warner Robins, she taught at Parkwood Elementary School until she retired from education. Teaching did not stop with her retirement. She helped her daughters in their teaching roles. She taught Sunday School and Community Groups at her church. She was a mentor in the school system and in her church, serving as a role model for younger women. She was generous, kind, genuine, and diligent.

She attended Tift College after she and her husband had young children. Not only did she earn an Elementary Education degree in just three years and graduate Magna Cum Laude, while raising two children and being a young wife, but she also minored in Music and Religion. In addition to working as an elementary school teacher, she kept the accounting records for her husband’s grading business and did their taxes for years. In recent years, she acted as a business advisor, kept the accounting records, and did the taxes for her children’s business as well. We will miss the wisdom of her counsel, her in-depth knowledge of God’s Word, the gentleness of her spirit, and the love she showered on us all. Her greatest joy was her family. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
