Laverne Lewis, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015.
On December 23, 1935, Laverne was born in Fort Valley, Georgia. She was a loving homemaker, devoted mother, and doting grandmother to her grandsons and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billie E. Lewis; parents, Ohlen and Rosa Lee Hinson Loudermilk; and sister, Faye Albritton.
Laverne's memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Kathy Lynn Clark of Griffin; grandsons, Noah Myers (Janet), Adam Roach, and Caleb Clark; and great-grandchildren, Addy Roach and Jonah Myers.
Visitation will be Monday, August 31, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
