A proud military wife, Lois devoted her life to supporting her husband and family through many years of service and travel. She was an active member of the Officers’ Wives Club, where she formed lifelong friendships and offered encouragement to others navigating the unique challenges of military life.

While stationed in Okinawa, Lois served as curator of an art gallery, where she shared her appreciation for culture and creativity with the community. Following her husband’s retirement from the military, Lois and her husband made their home in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she devoted her time to meaningful work and service to others.

She worked for many years at Kroger as the Floral Manager, where her artistic eye and caring nature brought joy to coworkers and customers alike. Deeply rooted in faith, Lois was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church and served on the board of the Salvation Army Safe House. She also volunteered regularly at the local food bank, always seeking ways to serve and uplift those around her.

Lois had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for travel, having visited more than 23 countries throughout her lifetime. She was also a devoted cat lover, finding great comfort and companionship in her feline friends.

Lois will be remembered for her generosity, her passion for life, and her unwavering kindness. She touched countless hearts with her compassion, creativity, and warm smile.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles F. Shadron and son, Charles F. Shadron, Jr.
