Macon – Lona Collins Sapp, 101, died Monday, November 11, 2002 at Lynn Haven Nursing Home in Gray. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November, 13, 2002, in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Buckhorn Methodist Cemetery in Dudley. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Born in Dudley, Mrs. Sapp was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Lenora Collins; husband, Thomas M. Sapp; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include daughter, Jeanette Bryan, Eatonton; daughter, Imogene (Jean) Herrington, Warner Robins; seven grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
