Louis C. "L.C." Davis

Louis C. "L.C." Davis, 80, entered into rest on August 1, 2008. Mr. Davis was born on August 29, 1927, in Mobile, Alabama. With pride and honor he served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. He was an elder at River of Light Church of God, who was very active with the Tuesday Morning Prayer Group. Working on cars was his favorite hobby. His parents, Abner Davis and Elizabeth Tillman Davis, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of sixty years, Lois L. Dickens Davis; son, Barry Davis (Judy), Warner Robins; daughter, Melissa "Lisa" Wilson (Scott), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Andy and Ashley Davis, Savannah and Christopher Wilson; brother, Cleveland Davis (Peggy), Mobile; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 750 Baconsfield Drive, Suite 115, Macon GA 31211.
