Louise Faircloth Horne

Louise Horne, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

Mrs. Horne was a resident of Perry, Georgia for over 65 years. Born, Minnie Louise Faircloth on September 13, 1927 in Pineview, Georgia, she was the daughter of Dave and Tillie Faircloth. She graduated from Pineview High School in 1946. On April 20, 1946, Louise eloped with James Spencer Horne, but kept the marriage a secret until she graduated. Louise was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Houston Lake Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years; sons, James and Wayne; and brothers, Wyatt and David.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Elaine Horne Patterson (Richard); her grandson, David Horne, Jr., and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special 'thank you' to the staff at Church Home and Rehab for the special attention and loving care given to Louise.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. A private interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggest memorial donations be given to Houston Lake Baptist Church Building Fund, 2300 Highway 127 East, Perry, GA 31069.
