Louvenia Williams, 94, entered into rest on Thursday, June 5, 2008.
Mrs. Williams was born on October 19, 1913 in Washington County, Georgia. She retired from the Macon Telegraph as a PBX Operator, but spent most of her life serving her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Auxiliary of Railroad of Central Georgia where she served as president. Centenary United Methodist Church was her church home. Her husband, Charles Gostin Williams, parents, Willie G. "Tom" and Claudia Avant Smith, three sisters, and three brothers, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Delores "Boots" Nelson, Warner Robins; brother, W. D. "Billy" Smith, Macon; grandchildren, Jim Watson, Carol Reagan, Bob Watson, and Bill Watson; six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations can be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Blvd, Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201-3498.
