Lucie Latimer Tron, 94, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2006. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Paula Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tron was born on June 23, 1912 in Wilkinson County, GA. She was the eldest member of First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins. Mrs. Tron retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Her husband, Henry Peter Tron and her parents, Joel Leander Latimer and Lucy Butler Latimer, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her siblings, Joel Latimer, Jr. (Virginia), Macon; Rebecca L. Underwood, Macon; nieces and nephews, Joel Latimer, III (Terry), Len Latimer (Jean), Jere Underwood (Hazel), Jeffersonville; Jeff Underwood, Macon; Jack Lakes, Sr. (Shirlie), Stark, FL; Jane Willard (Dallas), Chatsworth, CA; Judi Lingenfelter (Tom), Warner Robins; fifteen great nieces and nephews.
