Lucius H. Anderson

– Lucius Anderson, 89, entered into rest on Saturday, August 30, 2008.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at Elam-Millen Cemetery in Millen, Georgia, pastor Randall Smith officiating.

Mr. Anderson was born on March 15, 1919, in Collins, Georgia. After graduating from ECI High School in Twin City, Georgia, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, participating in WW II, the Korean and the Vietnam conflicts and eventually retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. A resident of Warner Robins since 1964, he was a retired civil servant from Robins Air Base where he worked many years as an Item Manager. His greatest joy was to spend time with family, especially his grandchildren. His parents, LeRoy Anderson and Salina Rushing Anderson, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of sixty-three years, Vivian Mary Gay Anderson; sons, Donald Anderson, Warner Robins, Jeffrey Anderson, Atlanta and Jim Anderson, Lawrenceville; daughter, Glenda Anderson Jones, Twin City; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
