Mabel L. Ladd

Mabel Lillian Ladd, 87, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 7, 2011.

Mrs. Ladd was born on November 2, 1924 in Illinois. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Mabel was a wonderful, loving homemaker and avid gardener. Her life and love was her family; she was passionate about spending time with them. Her husband of sixty years, Ralph O. Ladd; parents, William and Anna Jung Lehmker; and grandson, Michael Manlove, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Dawn Whitehurst (Ronnie) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Sharon Jones (Mike) of Tampa, Florida; Pat Manlove (Dow) of Slidell, Louisiana; Linda Leslie (Tommy) of Sparta; and Polly Hubbard (Joe) of Warner Robins; one son, Ralph O. Ladd, Jr. of Terra Ceia, Florida; brother and sister in law, Clyde and Ruth Lehmker, of Lakeland, Florida; sister in law, Fran Lehmker, of Clearwater, Florida; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and so many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday afternoon, December 10, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with D.C.O. Jerry Bisping officiating. Interment will be private.
