Maj. Dallas J. Rutherford, USAF (Ret.), 84, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2003. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Maj. Rutherford was born in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late Dallas Grover and Carrie Mae Rutherford. A 27-year veteran of the United States Air Force, he served during WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam Conflict. He has resided in Warner Robins since 1969.
Survivors include his wife, Elvera M. Rutherford, Warner Robins; sons, Dallas Richard Rutherford, Sr., Bonaire, and Joe Rutherford, Hawkinsville; grandchildren, Lisa Lynn Kisinski, Dallas Richard Rutherford, Jr., David Lee Rutherford, Amy Marie Greene, and Joy Leigh Rutherford; and five great grandchildren.
