Mrs. Bankston was born on August 1, 1942 in Bromley, England. She was a homemaker. Her parents, Edward and Alice Privett, preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her husband, Roy Bankston, Bonaire; children, Darren R. Bankston (Molly), Centerville; Steven K. Bankston (Cathy), Macon; Karen A. Benda (Andrew), Odum; Lauren A. Bankston, Byron; siblings, Olive Wright (Dave), Ann Chapman (Peter), Ted Privett (Pat), Stephen Privett, all of England, and six loving grandchildren.
