Margaret Jones, 73, returned home to the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Margaret was born on April 13, 1951, In Macon, Georgia to the late Johnnie Lee Jones and Ada Mae McClinton. In her professional life, she was a custodian for 40 years, last working at Peach Belt Nursing Home. Also, worked at Magnolia Court as head cook. Her grace and selflessness illuminated every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Any time spent with family making memories was time never wasted, especially when it came to her grandkids.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Johnnie Jones.

Margaret leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter, Linda McCallum (Malcom); granddaughters, Melinda McCallum, Mia McCallum, and Marissa McCallum; great-grandson, Cameron McCallum-Mack; beloved sisters and brothers, Jan and Felix King, Lily Gordon, Tina and Otis Marshall, Edmond and Glenda Jones, Willie and Emma Wells, Brenda and Roosevelt Ragins, Mary and Roger Williams, Kenneth and Sheila Wells, Edna and James Moore, Beverly Wells, M.C. Wells, and Barbara Wells; along with a host of niece, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Margaret will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
