Margaret Arnold Wright, 99, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Margaret was born on July 11, 1927, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Eddie and Nellie Mae Arnold. One of ten children, she grew up surrounded by a large family, and the importance of family remained at the heart of her life throughout her 99 years.
Margaret devoted 30 years of her career to Robins Air Force Base. She began as a telephone operator before later transitioning into the role of electronics mechanic, where she continued working until her retirement. A dedicated and dependable employee, Margaret took great pride in her work and the many years she spent serving the Robins Air Force Base community.
Outside of work, Margaret had a creative side and enjoyed painting, often sharing her artwork as gifts with others. She also volunteered at the Museum of Aviation for many years and enjoyed preparing taxes. Above all, however, Margaret treasured time spent with her family. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and extended family were an important part of her long and full life.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wright; and siblings, Henry Arnold, Vera Bramblett, Verna Nell Otti, Mary Ann Ellison, Francine Arnold, and Carolyn Dotson.
Her memory will be forever treasured by her children, Charles Wayne Wright, Glenn Wright (Diane), and Pam Wright (Bryan); grandchildren, Chris Medley (Jo), Elisha Lindner (Jamie), and Cassondra Brotzman (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Wesley Lindner, Madison Lindner, Michael Brotzman, and Gabriel Brotzman; siblings, Jean Patton, Lee Arnold, and Pat Diunizio; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterward, Margaret will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
