Margie H. Kline, 79, joined her beloved husband of 58 years, TSgt. Charles E. Kline, USAF (Ret.) in heaven on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Born in Chesterfield, South Carolina on July 14, 1938, Margie was the daughter of the late Colon and Lois Polson Harpe. She married Charles on December 11, 1959 and together they traveled the world while he was in the Air Force. After finally settling in Warner Robins, Margie worked as a trainer at Belk until retiring to help raise her grandchildren. She was a member of Ladies Aglow for several years and loved serving her family and friends when in need.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, Wesley Kline.
She leaves her memory behind with her sons, Charles Kline, Jr. (Esther) of Macon and Nicholas Kline of Warner Robins; grandsons, Jeremy Kline, Jacob Kline (Hope), Jonathan Kline; and sister, Jewell Watson (Gene) of Chesterfield, South Carolina.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 16th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17th at Christ Chapel, Warner Robins. After the service, Margie will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Margie Kline to the National Down Syndrome Society, 8 E. 41st St., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10017, www.ndss.org or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201, www.alz.org.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Kline’s arrangements.
