Maria Beltran Cantres-Lewis

Maria Lewis, 51, entered into rest on Friday, August 3, 2018.

Maria was born on September 2, 1966 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She spent many years teaching the “First Kids” class at First Baptist Church of Centerville. Maria showed great love for the children she taught and valued the difference she made in their lives. She was full of life, strong, hardworking and fully dedicated to her family. Maria was a kind soul and always smiling. She worshipped her Lord at First Baptist Church of Centerville.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Bryan Joseph Lewis; children, Greg Smith (Quinci), Tristan Moodie, Sharena Williams (Tyrone), and Neville Schum; grandchildren, Mia Smith, Chyna Jenkins, Damani, Carter, Tajai, Tyrell and Tyren; parents, David Beltran and Angela Cantres; sisters, Luz Santiago (David) and Catherine Beltran (Jose) and nieces and nephews, Jordan Thornton, Jessica Santiago, Daniel Santiago, Johnathan Rodriguez, Johnell Rodriguez, Jarriel Rodriguez and Adalynn Maddox.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Centerville. Afterwards, Mrs. Lewis will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
