Marie B. Fears

Marie B. Fears, 82, entered into rest on Monday, April 9, 2012.

Mrs. Fears was born on July 8, 1929 in Jay Bird Springs, Georgia. She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church and was a secretary for Citizen State Bank. Some of her hobbies included crocheting and knitting, and she loved to fish at her place in Lake Sinclair. Mrs. Fears also adored time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Her parents, Floyd Britt and Gladys Burch Britt, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of sixty years, Willie T. Fears, Warner Robins; children, Linda Bowie (Daniel) and Randy Fears (Ginger); grandchildren, Alicia Bowie Rogers (Ricky), Christopher Bowie (Jamie), and Lacey Fears; great-grandchildren, Ava and Addyson Rogers, and Brooke and Britton Bowie; and cousin, Charlene Jones.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to American Diabetes Association, One Corporate Square, Atlanta, GA 30329, www.diabetes.org.
