Marilyn M. Dixon, 65, of Warner Robins died
Friday, November 30, 2001 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 02, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of
Warner Robins. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dixon was born in Cory, Indiana. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a procurement specialist. Mrs. Dixon was a member of The Warner Robins Women's Club, Greenbriar Gardening Club, and secretary of Chapter Xi Alpha Lambda Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins where she was a 5th grade Sunday School Teacher, a member of the choir and served on several committees. Mrs. Dixon was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Ardian Gard, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Benny E. Dixon of Warner Robins; four daughters, Melanie Joris of Macon, Roxsanne Roush, Sherri Furtney, and Amy McCorkle all of Warner Robins; one son, David Roush of Alpharetta; her mother, Marjorie McCullough Gard; two brothers, Ardian Gard, Jr. and Bob Gard both of Canton; one sister, Sue McCoy of Portland, Oregon; and 9 grandchildren.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
