Martha Ellen Barkley

Martha Ellen Barkley, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 15, 2006. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be June 17, 2006 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barkley was born on July 24, 1921 in Keota, Oklahoma. She was of the Assembly of God faith. She was a loving wife, mother and a homemaker. Her husband William Othel Barkley and parents, George Franklin Lane and Anna Bell Standfell Lane, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Slone, Tullahoma, TN; Ruth and Robert Tanner, Warner Robins; Terri and Daryl Simpson, Raytown, MO; sisters, Mable Eidschan, Albuquerque, NM, Fay Ballard Omaha, NE; Gladys Decker, McCurtain, OK; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
