Martha ''Gale'' Beam

Martha “Gale” Beam, 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Summerhill Senior Living. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, at Coraopolis Cemetery in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania with interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd, Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201-3498.

Born in Sewickley, PA, Mrs. Beam was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis, PA, and lived in Perry, GA. She was a homemaker and active in church and community service. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claire F. and Lucy Connell, and sister, Suzanne Allen.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, William Beam, Perry; daughter, Martha Beam Davis (Phillip), Warner Robins; sister, Jane Connell, Pittsburg, PA; brother, Bud Connell, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Sarah Hardin, Megan McDerby, and Will Davis.
