Martha "Marti" Barnes Hallman, 67, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
Ms. Hallman was born on September 15, 1941 in Albany, Georgia, and was a devoted homemaker. Her daughter, Denise Ellis, and parents, Marion Barnes and Ethel Bowen Barnes, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Jimmy Hodges; daughters, Angela Martin and Kim Ott (Gary), both Warner Robins; brother, Joe Barnes, Gray; sisters, Frances Singletary, Warner Robins, and Elaine Lindsey, Tennille; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Randy Toms officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman, Georgia.
