Marty Lee Williams

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Marty Lee Williams, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and companion, passed away at age 62. He was born in Macon, GA on January 5, 1960 and was a self-employed construction worker for most of his working life. Though Marty worked hard, he enjoyed relaxing. You would often find him building birdhouses, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs (GO DAWGS!), watching NASCAR races or going fishing. Marty loved his family and they loved him; he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lee Williams; father, Walter Lee Williams; and brother, Thomas Williams.

Marty is survived by his loving children, Brandy Kaye Williams, Kimberly Williams and Joshua Cowart, all of Warner Robins, Dustin Lee Williams, Danielle Hopper and Kyle Hopper, all of Macon; grandchildren, Jordan and Bryson Williams, Coy Turner, Conner Williams, and Simmone, Alex and Izzy Cook; two great-grandchildren; parents, Bob and Joyce Leavitt; girlfriend, Brenda Hopper; and siblings, Jeff Williams of Macon, Tony Williams of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Andy Williams (Amie) of Lizella, Lisa Wood (Raymond) of Macon and Walter Lee Williams, Jr. of Macon.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Campbell.
