Marvin A. Swain, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
Mr. Swain was born in Butler, Georgia on January 13, 1943 to the late Arthur Lee and Ruby Inez Swain. Of the Baptist faith, he proudly served his country in the United States Army with a tour in Vietnam. Mr. Swain eventually went on to work with Electrolux from where he retired after 13 years as a sales representative. When Mr. Swain was not working, you could find him either fishing or spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Mr. Swain’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 41 years, Judith Swain, daughter, Heather Aaron (Patrick), and grandchildren, Hunter and Quentin Aaron, all of Kathleen; son, Arthur Dale Swain of Perry; daughter, Dana Swain Suiters (David) of New Port Richey, Florida; and granddaughter, Kristen Suiters.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Shearin and Rev. David Fisher officiating. Following the service, Mr. Swain will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
