Mary Elizabeth Marshall Freeman Moriarty

Mary Elizabeth Marshall Freeman Moriarty, 87, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2008.

Mrs. Moriarty was born on September 11, 1920 in Houston County, Georgia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. She was the former co-owner of Marty’s Standard Oil, as well as a Paraprofessional for the Houston County Board of Education. She held a membership with the Women’s Moose Club. One of her favorite hobbies was to go fishing. Her husband, Martin “Marty” T. Moriarty, Sr., parents, Phillip and Susie Marshall, and son, Martin “Marty” T. Moriarty, Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Moriarty Vaughn (Barry), Burlington, North Carolina, and Colleen Moriarty Tomblin (Steve), Warner Robins; sister, Gwen Prater, Pensacola, Florida; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Bonaire Community Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale Street, Memphis, TN 38105-2794
