Mary Ellen Rushing-Chumbley

Mrs. Mary Ellen Rushing-Chumbley, 75, passed away on November 18, 2006, just minutes before midnight with her loving daughter, Patricia and son, James at her hospital bedside. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Fort Benning, Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 206 Bay Street, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mrs. Rushing-Chumbley was born on August 29, 1931, in Fayette, AL. Her husband, Woodrow Chumbley and parents, Donald and Farris Rushing preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons: Michael Stephen Chumbley, Byron and James Randall Chumbley, Atlanta. Daughter: Patricia Lynn Chumbley, Warner Robins. Three grandchildren: Andrea Fyke, Byron, Meghan Chumbley, Byron, Matthew Chumbley, Byron. One great-grandchild: Sarah Madeline Fyke, Byron. Brother: Ben Rushing, Fayette, AL.
