Mary Ellen Wood

Mary Ellen Wood, 68, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at Medical Center of Central Georgia. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 24, 2005, at River of Light Church of God. Burial will be held at 4:00 PM June 24, 2004, in Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.

Mrs. Wood was born in Fannin County, Georgia. She attended River of Light Church of God. She owned her own ceramics business. Her husbands, Johnny William Britt, Sr. (1964); Ernest L. Wood (1995); parents, Everett and Bainer Roper, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, James E. Britt (Lisa), Kathleen; Johnny W. Britt, Jr., Buford; Cecil P. Britt (Michelle), North Little Rock; Ricky Wood (Donna), Buford; daughter, Faye Wood (John Riddle), Ft. Walton Beach; grandchildren, Rebekah, Lindsay, Tyler, Dustin, Matthew, Brandon, Taylor, Brian, John, Rip, Jonnie; great-grandchildren, Makaylah, Noah, Trevor, Travis, Rebecca; siblings, Wylene, Jackie, and Lola.
