Mary Jo Sharp Collins, born on November 29, 1931, in Oakdale, Tennessee, passed away on November 2, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Ora and Beulah Sharp.

Mary married the love of her life, Wilfred Collins, and together they celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage. Throughout her life, she worked as a sales associate for Belk and for AFES on base, where she touched the lives of many with her warm smile and dedication.

An avid lover of the beach, Mary cherished spending time by the ocean, but her greatest joy came from her family. She was actively involved in the CB club, where she fostered friendships and shared her passion for communication and connection. Autumn was her favorite season, and she loved the vibrant colors and crisp air that it brought.

Sharp, Jr.; sisters, Fontella (Poppy) Sharp Thornton, Barbara (Sissy) Sharp Cromwell, and Lela Mae Sharp Whitus; cousin, Pat Austin; nephew, Stanford Thornton (Janelle), and Scott Cromwell; along with several siblings who passed away at a young age.

Mary is survived by her granddaughter, Angela Liles (Elijah); great-granddaughter, Amelia Babb (Cauy), Danielle Pace (Dillon); other great grandchildren, Traci Cohen, James Cohen, and Ashley Malcom (Noah); and great-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Caroline; Sister-in-law, Geraldine Sharp; nephews, Ray Sharp, Bubba Thornton (Voncila) and Barney Whitus; longtime friend and caregiver, Judy Cooke; as well as countless others that Mary cherished and loved.
