Mary Ann Lawson was born on August 19, 1944, in Macon, Georgia, to the late T.D. Timms and Maude McBride. She lived a life rooted in dedication, family, and faith.
Mary Ann devoted 34 years of service to Robins Air Force Base, where she worked in civil service. Throughout her career, she was recognized with multiple exemplary service awards, a reflection of her strong work ethic and commitment.
Family was the heart of Mary Ann’s life. She cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, and was happiest when surrounded by family. She also enjoyed vacations to the mountains, where she found peace and joy in nature.
At home, Mary Ann delighted in the simple pleasures of life—watching her favorite television shows, reading, and spending quiet hours doing cross-stitch. She was a familiar and welcome presence at family gatherings and was actively involved in her church, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her dedication, her love for family, and the gentle way she shared her time and heart with those around her.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Charles Brian Lawson (Christy), Frank Edwin Lawson (Danielle), and Pamela Lawson Blunk (Bill); grandchildren, Brian (Jess), Morgan (Daniel), Brett (Constance), Savana, Colt, Shelby, Jaden (James), Jesse, and Nathan; great grandchildren, Blaise, Bode, Cleetus, and Wrenly; and siblings, Theresa Hodges and Frank McBride.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Sandy Valley Baptist Church. Afterward, Mary will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
