Mary Lou Harkins

Mary Lou Harkins, 94, entered into rest Sunday, June 15, 2008.
Mrs. Harkins was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi. She graduated from the University Of Mississippi School Of Nursing. Second Baptist was her church home. Her husband, Robert C. Harkins; parents, Emsley and Lillie Sledge; daughter, Patricia Ann Harkins; and siblings, Emsley W. Sledge, Jr., Sonny Sledge and Hilda Ruth Ferguson preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children; Sarah Herrington (Van), Warner Robins, Martha Johnson (Gerald), Cumming and Robert W. Harkins, Warner Robins, sisters; Bobbie Thompson, Pontotoc, Mississippi and Aileene Tarrant, Tupelo, Mississippi; grandchildren, Andrea McGee (Mark), Warner Robins, Brian Herrington (Miranda), Warner Robins, and Brewer Johnson, Cumming and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be given to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
