Pearl S. Bass, 96, entered into rest on May 13, 2011.
Born on February 25, 1915 in Gilchrist County, Florida, Mrs. Bass was retired from Civil Service. A member of the Church of Christ, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, David I. Bass, son, Irvin F. Bass, and her parents, Ira F. Slaughter and Mary Smith Slaughter.
She will live in the hearts of her daughters, Leona Hurst (David), Byron, Catherine B. Whatley, Warner Robins, and Jean Branam, Warner Robins; daughter-in-law, Carol W. Bass, Lebanon, Tennessee; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. in McCullough Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
